I've never really understood light gaurds. Any time I have broken lights I would have had a knackered light gaurd too.
You can get bullbars easy enough.

I have to say they don't look very strong!!!!!:lol

i'm gonna go down the tip and collect fridge shelves, make my own and sell £30 a pop on fleabay lol

You can't buy what you want new. If you do, its totally illegal and you could end up getting nicked (as would the retailer).

Since May 2007 its been illegal to sell BBs (for any vehicle) that don't meet the EU standard, which is basically those soft rubber over-rider thingies.

You can buy and fit second hand though without a problem, but think about letting your insurance company know.:thumbs

so if i bought this,
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-TERRAN...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item5aceffc6fd

And fitted it to my terrano i would be breaking the law.

But,

If after a couple of weeks decided i did not like it and sold it on, the person who then bought it and fitted it to their terrano would be OK legally.

No you wouldn't but the seller is.....and subject to a potential fine of £20,000 if you check, so a complete tosser IMHO.

EDIT: just one of zillions of links.....

and heres is the legislation....not very explicit about the end result but effectively its a flat rubber thing that looks nothing like a proper bullbar
