What condition were the plugs in when you changed them....any oily deposits or other abnormal symptoms with the condition of the plugs ?

According to the manual the LSD oil should be changed every 120,000 kilometres or 72,000 miles or after 72 months...whichever comes first. So not exactly regular maintenance item :)

Don't have a pre facelift model myself but I am sure someone who does will be along shortly to answer your question m8. I was wondering though how you compensated for the shorter bell housing or did everything just bolt straight up ?

I've seen a product last time I was in Halfords especially for repairing cracked plastic bumpers. If I remember correctly it was some kind of special glue and finishing paste/filler. Might be worth checking out before laying out on a replacement bumper.
