21 Today, Mav passes MOT with no advisories.

Well, I did a pre MOT a few days ago, replaced a front side light bulb, as it was intermittant, and cleared out the washer nozzles, as the flow was weak, took her in just now for an MOT and she passed first time, no advisories again.
This year she cost me 39p in total, oh plus oil + filter and fuel filter change.

The expense... might have to reconsider keeping this lol...

So now I own a 21 year old Ford Maverick, (Nissan Terrano in disguise), that would you believe... I have owned from new lol....

Sorry about the bragging, but the MOT guy said we have apprentice technicians younger than that lol...

With all that has been going on this last year, I did nothing to it, I wanted to waxoyl a few areas, all's I could do was jack up, check for clunks, wheel wobble, bulbs, W/Screen washers, tyres etc all looked ok.
She is stored in a warm dry integral garage, rarely put away wet, but if she is, on goes the de-humidifier....

This was the first year that I wasn't pacing up and down, or having a sleepless night. My ongoing prostate cancer, and my wife's breast cancer,changes our outlook on life. If it passes... fine, if not with my shoulder replacement, I probably couldn't fix anything major now, so throw some money at it if required, I have to protect my right shoulder now, as that is now taking a bit more wear and tear.

Anyway... another 12 months and a week to next one. :thumb2
