Plank you plank....I've sussed out what you've done you Xmas turkey you....you clicked on Differential instead of Limited Slip Differential.
1/10 - Must try harder.
ATTENTION MODS...as this is a sticky, can someone delete my duplicate Post No25 please? Tks!
LSD oil in rear diff, doesn´t kick out on wet roads now.

I also took my Mav to a quiet ind est to see if I could lose the back end again but was good as gold!
No mate, I've tried again and it recommends the ep80w-90 for differential and front differential, i have tried another t2 reg, a 2005 model and it recommends the LS oil? weird. But aren't there two different types of LS Diff used in T2's and maybe one doesn't requires LS oil?
PM SENT!
pfht, you're not trying hard enough boyoI've short listed my tyre choice down to two, General Grabber UHP or AT2 and I'm leaning towards the AT2
Anyone have an opinion (that was a daft question)

T2 is a great truck for chucking the back end out and a doddle on wet roundys:lol
Great for donuts too :naughty

well Planky is right, his reg does give a list that doesn't include an LSD, just refers to diffs and front diff. So I've reported him to the DVLA for running dodgy plates :lol:lol:lol
But the link was really more about finding out where your local supplier was than anything else, cos some people say they can't find Comma in the shops.
You're right there was a later diff used - I can never remember what it was from, but Terranosaurus did say it was something like the L200 or maybe a Navara?? Its the one with a bolt-on backplate and a smaller oil volume, but I thought it was still the clutch-pack type, so still needed proper LSD oil....
certainly when you do the search by vehicle type it does spec an LSD and the correct oil....so suggest people just use that.
Its 'doughnut'. Only our colonial subjects eat donuts.:augie
they're not dodgy, they're Crown Derby, :augie
