View Full Version : Memory Maps 5 OS Edition
Guys I'm currently selling Memory Maps 5 for PC/Laptop with every single OS 25k Explorer Map for the United Kingdom including Scottish Isles and all leisure maps
The software is great and supports GPS devices so you can track your progress as you drive, it also switches to the relevant map when you reach the end of the current one so no stopping to mess about
Compatible with Windows XP/Windows Vista and Windows 7, not tested with Windows 8 but no reason for it not to work
MMI file for full searchability of maps by place names and also full elevation data provided which can be used to show elevation (see pics below)
A piece of software you cannot afford to be without when out laning or even before you set out for planning of your trips and expeditions
£10 including postage and any technical advise you need :thumbs
See some screenshots of the software in action below on my Laptop;

Will reply to all of the PM's later guys :thumb2
Just trying to juggle priorities at the moment :(
Got a gaping big hole in the car where a window used to be, I cannot get this commercial board to stay put for love nor money, I might have to call in my first forum favour here and drive to see someone who could help me :bow
Got a job interview this afternoon too and to top it all off I've been pulling off some stupid hours recently working an 8 hour day then going home and feels like I've been doing another 8 hour day, getting into bed at like 3am and then up for work again come 7am
I feel drained................ :doh
Don't all get your violins out though, I'll man through it, I'm sure some of you have bigger problems than that

What are you using to bond it in with ? I'd be using some Tigerseal or similar. Then some nice big tie down straps with appropriate packers where needed. Fast clamps near the door jams. Barton of wood between the house and the car etc :thumbs

Banshee,
Is this the same version you have supplied me with previously?
If so, no problem.......except that map 151 was a corrupted file and would not open, could you check your original file, if it works for you, could you mail me a valid copy of thst file please......
The whole package is excellent......the android version 'AlpineQuest' is brilliant and got it on my phone and tablet.....it works incedibly with the GPS function on both...
Highly recommend this deal from Banshee......:thumb2:thumb2:thumb2

I've replied to your PM John :thumb2 Get me your address over and I'll send you new discs  I'm glad you like it, I bloody love maps, the nice thing about it is you can store all the maps on a 64GB microSD card and as they are offline you can just pull up some maps if ever you are bored :lol, I occupied myself scrolling through the lake district on the 3D modeller dodging all of the mountains for a whole plane journey once :lol
I'm pretty sure I had one off you before but buggered if I know what I did with it :doh
Tell you what, I'll send you the whole lot in the post for free if you keep the jiffy bag and send it back to me with a piece of paper inside with some measurements on? :nenau
For anyone that's interested and doesn't have a GPS device built into their device that they will be using for mapping.
If you buy this nifty little gadget it will plug in to Memory Maps and pinpoint real time location on the map. The beauty of the software is that when you go out of bounds on the map you currently have loaded it will load the next one based on your current coordinates :thumb2
You can load multiple maps at once but these are such large detailed maps that it's not worth sacrificing system resource to do it when it auto switches anyways.

Banshee, you could be in luck mate. I have a worn top arm bearing and so will be removing it shortly. Got a verbal advisory from MOT man, he's very nice, he forgot to enter it on "the system" :thumbs
Banshee could you bring both versions please, both my phone and tablet are android so I suspect alpine quest would be the way to go and my laptop which I wont bring is Windows 10. Thanks

Sorry for the delay with this one guys, I've just paid for some extra Dropbox storage and looking at providing a secure link to the files now so they can be downloaded rather than me have to keep burning discs and posting which is very time consuming.
I'll be replying to PM's shortly, sorry for the delay :thumb2
