Lazy-Ferret

I am sure we have all done it... made someone jump, either accidentally, or deliberately, and then some time later thought back to it, and been unable to suppress a little giggle.... surely it is not just me? :D
I made Suz jump one time, and did it with such style, she just burst into tears on the spot... I was mortified, especially as she is not normally a tearful person, but even now all these years on , I am sniggering at the thought of it, as I write this...:lol
Anyway, this morning, still half asleep, I went to my sock draw, to grab a pair, and as I opened the draw, and put my hand in, this little white head moved up from under the socks, and licked my hand... I nearly died...
Flyte my tiniest ferret had slipped up the back of the chest of draws, and made a nest in my sock draw, and this is the first time, I have actually caught her in it, or to be more technically correct, this is the first time, she has caught me, while she has been in it...
I am sure every time Flyte sees me now, she does a little snigger as she walks past... :augie
What with them randomly attacking our feet when we get in or out of bed, and now Flyte hiding in the sock draw, I think I might revert back to my childhood fears of the bed monster lurking somewhere when I turn the light out. :(
