Before splashing the cash try cleaning all the associated contacts with a proper contact cleaner, including all the connectors in lump front left of engine bay, shortly after getting my Mav several different codes came up, most were irrelevant. worth a shot for a few quid. Then see if it happens again.
 
You will have to purchase a complete injector, do not think any body will have the sensor on it's own, I have a good used Zexel one but as it is my only spare am reluctant to part with it, see how you get with breakers etc, Rick

Am going to change the throttle position sensor before I go for the injector.

Yeah I have been through all the connections a few times. It's not too much money to do the throttle position sensor so will swap that and check out the old one. It's never a bad thing to have a few spares kicking around if it doesn't fix it. :)
