I've not done any off roading since 2019 and the world changed.....

In fact I think the last lot of lanes I did was with Elty on NYE 2019

Myself, Elty, Barrbeast, Terranosaurusdoug and Patrolman Steve will all be hitting the lanes this weekend and camping at a fishery in Catterick with access to Pike Fish the River Swale

We have to send our love to Mr Blocker and MollyBlocker as they are unable to attend due to personal circumstances :(

Keep an eye out here for pictures and videos upon our return, I'll be trialling my new GoPro Fusion 360 so will hopefully have some snazzy footage to show.

COME ON THE BOYS

See you later gents, hopefully we don't have to pull Rob out the hayloft when we get there :naughty ;)

:camping:

Have fun all, I could do Slindon on Sunday but too much to do but will deffo be doing Piccadilly Wood on the 7th Nov, Rick

Bugger I missed this one Enjoy

Don't worry, They drove past my house on one of their clique meets a few years ago and not even an invite as a passenger.

With two broken wrists and in casts for 6 months + would of been a nice morale boost, but hey ho.

Trip was full so no open invite.
Can't believe you are getting the arse on about a trip that happened about 5 years ago,get a life.

Well the trip was a great success

A great 2 days of laning for most of us, Patrolman Steve had a bit of a mishap due to some negligible maintenance (or lack of), he managed to lose a brake line feeding the load sensing valve to the rear of the vehicle that had pinholed leading to him losing his brake pedal. Barrbeast to the rescue though and after consulting paper manuals and some schematics online, they were promptly able to block off the pipe by cutting it and curling it over on itself back into the block connector in the wheel arch and as such Steve was able to get home under his own steam  Well impressed :bow

You can't beat my gang :guitarist:

The lanes and the views were as spectacular as ever thanks to Elty's stellar route planning and navigation and the company and camp site antics were comedy gold as usual :lol

We went for camping a little bit more "off grid" this time, I sourced us our own private river bank on fishery land in Catterick and as such we were able to scream and shout into the early hours without upsetting the lawn loving, 10pm curfewing camping and caravanning bores that we usually have to put up with at most other sites at the compromise of no electric hookup and no showers but we didn't mind that :camping:

Hold onto your hats for the pictures incoming in a few, the Go Pro 360 footage will take me a little longer as I still need to work out how to pull it from the device and get it edited, I'll then slap it on YouTube which should allow you to control the video with your mouse for a true 360 degree view or if you have the kit, you can use some VR goggles
