My old Terrano has passed it's MOT first time!

Had it booked in at Bigbunny's brother in laws garage last couple of days. He's fabricated a new cross member and body mounts and a new bumper reinforcer. That's all it needed to pass, got 3 minor advisories but no where near as many as previous years and even the tester admitted they'll still be advisories next year. All that for the grand sum of £245. Will post pics later when he's emailed them to me.

Happy days:thumbs

Just been out and had a good look around, I'm turning into Alex! I got a tubular bumper underneath the plastic:lol:lol

Well done, not for the bumpersBut for the M.O.T

Result Jim :thumb2
It lives for another year.

Well done Jim, now you have a great peg in the ground for reference for your project truck, now that must give great confidence to persevere with it.

:clap:clap

Cheers Rustic, funny you should say that about the project. Take a look as I've put an update on tonight.

I'm impressed that you are tackling just one area at a time, it could be tempting to strip out all the rot from every where, but I think that would be over whelming.
A great project, there are many members watching this progress with great interest.
I too am interested, as at first sight, my Mav looks great, but at some time in the future, I will probably have to get some work done.

Can't wait to get the photos from todays mot repairs on the old truck. From what I can see its well engineered.
