I've seen that they do a 4" version of the Body Lift kit for the Terry

Is this a ballache to fit as I know steering linkage has to be modified (don't want to end up like Alex did), brake lines? Extended gear stick and transfer lever?

Should I just got for the 2" or should I stop being a pussy and man up?

Fuel tank filler pipe will need extending,

The transfer box lever surround will need cutting I think.

Also the sticks will need extending.

Probably some other things forgotten, But I've got to go out.

what do you want a 4 inch lift for? the only valid reason is if you want to fit bigger wheels/tyres, Rick

I think there will be a few wires that will need extending as well, for example, ABS sensors, fuel tank wires, and Towbar wiring if fitted.

Brake pipes will be tight, if they reach, and I think the clutch flexy pipe will also need extending.

Steering shaft will need extending.

I would have though the Radiator will need lowering, if not the top and bottom pipe will definitely need extending.

The intercooler will need lifting, or the bonnet scoop rubber extending.

Pipe from air filter to Turbo will need extending.

Bumpers will be fun to re-fit.

Fuel tank filler pipe.

The hand brake cables will be very tight, if long enough, and will definitely need new support points.

The lead from the starter motor to the battery will need a new longer one.

As mentioned, the gear sticks will need bending, and extending, and I am not sure the bottom sealing gaiter will have enough movement, as it was tight with the 2" lift.

When you do the 2" lift, it is almost like the car was designed for it, the only real problem being the transfer stick and bumpers. Once you try and go above that, things start to need changing out.

When you do it, you better do a full photo tutorial...:clap

Radiator hoses will need lengthening or rad lifting, brake lines, handbrake cables, basically everything that is connected from body to chassis and then some.
The pearl is only on 2"body and 2" suspension and alot of cutting.
The choice is yours but for a laning and day to day running I would advise against it.

4" body lift ?
No point in my mind . You'll have space for big tyres but no flex to speak of. If you really want 35s get your wallet out.
POWER is needed big time .OR you'll need to spend equally big bucks on re gearing .
I've done it to prove a point really.
I'd advise some good Fedima 33s ( which will measure nearer 34)
Get a front diff locker and have a usable beast
If you're still after 35s , see me after school :naughty
Even then, 2" suspension and 2" body lift keeps things cheap and simple :clap

Yeah 2" is plenty, my steering is extended somewhat also, perhaps the facelift models differ some how? Or just mine? :lol

I did look into regearing, there are diff gears that will change the ratios if you want to go 35" just not sure on 4wd motion, do the fronts need regearing aswell? :nenau

Also your center of gravity will be crap, even the SAS terranos are not like that as they are lifted via suspension instead. This will not help with ground clearance, just make you feel like you'll tip over :naughty

I've ordered the 2" kit :lol

That list of Lazy Ferrets nearly did me off

Good choice and unless you space wheels out rediculously it'll look stupid as they're narrow to look at anyway let alone that high
