X-Trail wheel swap

Hi everyone im new to this forum and to the X-Trail. I would like to swap my standard X-Trail 16x65x215 for a set of 18x60x 225 from the newer X-Trail
I have a t30 will they fit without any problems?

This helped me when I put tyres on some 18" rims for my Merc

If you use the tyre size & offset calculator you will get stuff like speedometer errors etc.

At a glance you should be okay, also worth looking at wheel & tyre options in the original handbook if you have one.

A lot depends on the offset of your wheels if you are using different rims. I did a spreadsheet for comparisons showing all the data for different wheel & tyre fitments.

Are they the same stud fitment type?

I know mine are 137.9?

The PCD of both the T30 & the T31 are 5x 114.3 so the wheels themselves shouldn't be a problem.

The overall size of the wheels & tyres will be about 1.5 inch bigger and they're nearly half an inch wider. I don't think fitment will be too much of an issue.
