in a word NO lol, wouldn't even consider it til they can come up with a way for it to self charge whilst driving, whats 100 miles these days? if my baby girl was in hospital i'd be able to visit her once then spend a day charging the bloody thing, it's just not practical enough for todays motoring

NO!

Cost of car.
Life of batteries.
Cost to replace batteries.
Poor network of charge points.
Length of time to recharge.

But most importantly, I am going to enjoy my petrol engines when I still can.

Clever little car though.

a big no from me, although the recharging networks are getting better. At some stations, they can get you topped up in 20 mins, fully charged in an hour, i think thats with the newer voltages though.

If I was to go hybrid however, i'd be buying one of these http://www.honda.co.uk/cars/cr-z/

The whole point about this electric stuff is it is not even in the remotest way being GREEN the batteries in themselves in production are less green than a fuel burning engine, and fuel wise you are just shifting the pollution from the road to the power station= no gain, Rick
