Do Haynes do manuals for either the Maverick or the Teranno 2?

Am I right in assuming that although this manual states 2002, it covers the Maverick 2.7?

I think it's the "Only" one anyone has found, so some things are a bit hit and miss, like some of the wiring colour etc. I have a 99, and it gave me enough info to change the turbo.

Most of the info applies, as Nissan tended to remove things as the cars got newer, rather than add much, and even the odds and sods bits, it points you in the right direction.

I've used it against my 96 Maverick and 2004 Terrano and found some differences but on the whole, it's a bloody good solid manual as they go.

Pollen Filter

Just a quick question.

Is the pollen filter in the same location as it is on the later models, i.e. the model that the above workshop manual covers?

I am pretty sure it is in the same location on all of them. Easy way to check without having to undo a load of screws is to take contents out of the glove box, and pop the two stays, one each side, that stop it dropping all the way out, out of their slots. they are about 1cm longer than the slots, but there is enough give in the plastic for them to slide out. You can then clearly see the heater body. Roughly in the centre of the glovebox area, there is a vertical plastic panel, about 3cm wide, and runs from top to bottom, that the filter goes behind.

You can't change it without removing a fair bit more, as the metal bar that the glove box is hinged to, runs across the bottom, but it will at least set your mind at rest.
