Looks good:thumbs

I've got a floor standing LED rechargeable work light from screwfix but it doesn't put out as much light as yours.

Fluorescent is good as the light tends to not cause so many shadows like LED's can, as I find LED's concentrate the light & fluorescent scatter the light.

Fluorescent is good.

I used a second hand forecourt double tube unit that consisted of a thick glass fibre case with standard twin 6 ft Fluorescent lamps inside with Poly-carbonate Cover clipped in place. Cost me £2.50 from a Garage forecourt about 25 years ago that had had new lighting fitted. They were in working order being a contract deal where the lighting was replaced every couple of years.

I went back the next day and bought another 4 units for my garage but ditched the casings as they made the lights too low. I found as general lighting they were good but for close inspection an additional torch still takes some beating as you can direct the beam better.

About 10 years ago I gave my old lights to my brother as I had sourced some modern twin units with mirrored diffusers like you see in shops - second hand again and the price had risen to £10 each with new tubes & starters fitted! The tube size is now obsolete but have fitted the later ones that are a slightly different wattage but they work just fine.

I have recently fitted the new IP40 Linear LED Batten light units in my Kitchen & Bathroom and they are so bright its amazing.
They are the Knightsbridge LIN1, LIN2 type 3 year warranty and are ultra slim and lightweight.
They are not cheap - around the £50 mark from local wholesalers but if I was still doing all my own repairs I would look to one of these as a base light as the Lumens output is fantastic.

Wow that Sealy is expensive, I have some not used on a job under cupboard fluorescent lights with tough glass front which swivels, from Lydils about £9 each IIRC, loads of light and small enough to place in tight spots, Rick

I agree with Solarman (Rick?) they are expensive and by the design more suited for using with a full ramp. I bought a pair of these a few years back. They also do smaller single units!

I got them for decorating ceilings so I could see where I had been with the roller on account of the ceiling lamps having been removed.

Bonus is they double up as a heater as they are pretty powerful being halogen bulbs!lol

A tip I have is try to get something that doesn't dazzle you, although you want a flood affect something with some means of directing the light is good, if it's shining in your eyes you won't see anything else, that is how feet go through ceilings from lofts :doh customer was a little surprised :lol
