Have you tried Linux Mint? Cracking OS.:thumb2

It's not really me that is the problem, my wife has to be able to use it without me having to keep running up stairs to help her out. She's pretty good with technology but I'm worried that moving to something less mainstream may be a pain in the **** for her. In reality we tend to only use the basic word, excel etc. We're not gamers so that is not an issue. I'll have to have a look for Linus Mint.

Thanks.

Microsoft Money 2001

Turns out this is incompatible with W10, anyone know of a fix?
Otherwise W10 seems OK
Without it I am stuck as all my financial stuff is on MM 2001
HELP!!

my acer w7 gave the flag, registered and now on it all seems fine.

father in laws did same, he managed it himself.

the mrs' w7 hp wont give the flag, ive done countless upgrade pushes and so
many install updates. even to been to ms and added updates manually that
site suggests but are already installed.

now trying the savy upgrade, using the w7 machine onto a 4gb stick. so atleast
can do others.

when i'm using the ms upgrade page, things dont open up as pop ups though not
blocked. perhaps i should leave it as w7 as the backup machine, cant believe
have tried so much as not really that bothered but would like all units on same
platform.

run it in Compatibility Mode, or try install it in Compatibility Mode, that should sort it.:thumbs

It appears that W10 is not compatible with Office.org either.
The more I see of it, the more it seems to be forcing people to Microsoft products.
Dear Microsoft,
People use the competition for a reason.
Learn from this, please.
Regards.

I have no idea about compatibility mode, do you have a link to a Microsoft help page, I have searched but all I find is the 2001 is not compatible with W10
My only option could be to go back to W7
