wiring through roof?

well those connectors won't be enough then unless you use 2 connectors.
 
if you can find higher current connectors then theres no need, Maybe the powerpole type on their might be more suitable but not waterproof.
 
Well my roof rack is now officially completed:D so I better pull my finger out and get a connector:rolleyes::rolleyes:
 
I've come a bit late to this, but if it were my car, I would not drill a hole in the roof! I would route wires up inside the pillars and out under the rubbers. If you change your mind and take the rack off a hole in the roof is not an easy thing to fix. :thumb2

i know what you mean, i might just route the wires up, i'm powering the marker light fron the ciggy lighter in the boot at the moment:D

good plan, even if you use lower power bulbs in your spots until you are sure drilling the roof is the way to go, and you wouldn't need waterproof plugs and connections :thumb2

It's a old vehicle, the odd hole won't matter

old? or a future classic? it's only a few years off!

My suggestion is a quick, cheap, alternative that gives you a chance to change your mind :thumbs
