wipers wont stop or park

hi peeps
great site gotta prob with me 96 mav looked through earlier posts but dont quite fit...
wiper blades work on all settings but wont turn off only by pulling fuse can they be stopped put fuse back and they stay stopped any ideas where to start maybe a relay but not to sure where they are...

I suppose it could be the switch part of the wiper arm just sticking in the on position.

(P.S. Just found this posted by toolbox earlier.)

Have you checked the fuses, you should have 2, I think if one is gone it will do what you are experiencing.
It seems that the permanent feed that parks the wiper is not working this is the same for the intermittent as the supply is only switched on momentarily to start the motor and the park supply then finishes the stroke.

:smile: looked through the earlier threads and decided to take relay apart under wiper motor all looked ok put back together and hey presto all worked :p
