Wing Mirrors

Anyone know how to get the wing mirros off so that I can replace them?

A big hammer works every time :lol: :lol: :lol: TBH never done any on a T2 but I think you'll have to remove the inner trim where the tweeter is mounted to get at the prob 3 screws holding the mirrow in place

a transit van mirror worked quite well for me :lol: :lol: .have got to change one of mine as its held on with duct tape at the moment.probably gonna do it sunday so if you havent sussed it by then i will let you know how i get on.

PRETTY SURE YO HAVE TO REMOVE DOOR PANEL DUE TO ONE OF THE 3 SCREWS BEING LOWER THAN THE TRIM

Door trim has to be removed, also you will need access into the door panel through the plastic damp proof sheet, to remove the electrical connectors. You may need some duct tape to seal. Take your time in removing as there are cables in the door panel. Not sure if the speaker comes away with the panel or not!
Not a big job, approx 30 minutes. The door closing handle is fixed at the top with a screw, there is just the odd screw with a plastic dome. The fiddly bit is feeding the door opening catch through the trim when you come to re-asemble. Don't forget to connect the door speaker again if you had to disconnect it.

Have just bought some chrome mirrors off ebay, is it as east as u said Rustic?

speaker stays on door, carefully remove plastic, mine ripped in several places, not to bad a job though, :thumb2

just beed the A Bar now with some lights

I've just bought some Black rear light guards from Palm Automotive, but theres a shop near where I work where they chrome metal! so gonna get them done.
