Yep can vouch for that, we had a good time, sorry I cannot help with picking up the screen, just too far and not any time free, Rick

Again sadly unable to help you out as live far to North & no plans yet of travelling South

My wife was up for it, until I pointed out we would need 14 ferrets chipped, jabbed and passported, to be able to take them with us, and a second mortgage to be able to afford it.. :lol

14 ferret passports made me smirk :lol

I would love to pick up the screen and have a mini trip over but the same, I am stuck with work  I'm sure someone will take up em kind offer, Cambridge only 70 miles from me :thumb2

I''m just putting this up one more time, as some one who is able to help may not have seen it. I need is a kind member who could pic the windscreen up from the vendor in Wisbech Cambridgeshire and drop it off at Pulborough west Sussex.I have until Wednesday the 17th to get it there before the person who is bringing it comes over . :nenau

Sorry mate, if I lived in the area, I would try to help you out.
We need the Nissan 4x4 pony express, are there no members who live or work in the area that could get it moved closer to the final destination.:nenau
It works in the club Triumph world :thumb2

When I first joined there was a sort of 4x4 pony express, more active when there were more 4x4 meets around the country, but I guess there are less of them now.

It might be possible for one member close to the collection point to take it somewhere else, for another member to take the next bit, a sort of 4x4 relay.

The windscreen will take up a lot of space in a car, so not suitable for all, it's not as if we don't know the size of it lol...
With it being a windscreen, you would think a member on here would "look into it" lol:doh:doh

I'm actually looking into it myself, but I cannot make any promises yes as I will have to try and sweet talk work today, and I've been off this morning going to he docs.

Also have no annual leave left

Well Alex, you were kind enough to pickup my bonnet guard, so the 4x4 relay still works :thumb2

That would be great if you could start the windscreen relay off too :clap

Sounds a great potential offer there Alex:thumb2
Hope you are ok at the Docs.
I heard that last week you went to the dentist, and had two wisdom teeth put in....:lol:lol:lol

I wish sometimes we could do a "Joe 90" (now who remembers that ?) and get a brain memory and experience programmed in, I guess Alex would want a copy of Ricks lol... well not all of it...:naughty
:lol:lol:lol

Oh dear, Its not looking too promising.

Not a definate no, but words along the lines of "what kind of an example would I be setting to the others" was mentioned

I offered to do a couple of christmas saturdays in place of this Monday.

I will gently nudge tomorrow morning when the boss is back in ;)

Thanks Alex I have replied to Ricks message,:bowI hope it all go's OK for you at the doc's, your help is much appreciated, John :thumb2

Is there anyone else that can pick up from Wisbech and get some way towards London, I can get to Dartford crossing in my time available, I can then meet and trans ship, looking at Monday, Rick

Boss will confirm my question tomorrow but I suspect it's bad news.. :(

For the fuel it would take can we not just sort a courier for this screen? :nenau

Ho! This windscreen malarkey is turning into a Brian Ricks Farce!
Now the courier I got to pick it up did not pick it up as "THERE VAN BROKE-DOWN"!! :doh So now there is no way I can get it to Pulbourgh by tomorrow:(
So Is there any member who lives near Wisbech, Camb, Who could just pick it up and hang on to it, probably until I can get it to Rick :duno:

If the time delay is eliminated I will pick it up for you, just work limits my movements and temperamental truck also, seems to behaving itself for now :augie

Same location?
