10 is out on new stuff.
iso bootable is,put dvd into drive,make sure item is bios set to boot from cd/dvd drive it will boot to do a clean install of 10.

I tried to download a copy of Windows 7 from Microsoft, put my product code in and it told me to fcuk off as it was a Lenovo installed/flavoured OS

That's all very odd, after initial changes I've finally settled down with w10 and apart from a couple of quirks don't have any problems. It loaded first time and runs fine.

I do like the look of the Linux and will have a play when I buy a replacement laptop.

Using Windows 7 at work, no problems (but heavily protected environment). At home I'll never use Windows again, very happy with Mac since 13 years

think i will change hard drive and play with mint,tried older lin but could not get on being windows chap.
