So just thought id share this with you all. Whilst in the truck today, the missus went to do up her window, it was incredibly slow and infact almost stopped, it was really struggling!

I immediately got a good penetration spray and sprayed the heck out of the channels with the window half open. I then got the missus to click the window and down whilst spraying constantly on both sides of the window face itself, so the whole glass panel both sides gets soaked including the channels.

Work it in by pressing up and down on the window whilst spraying at the same time.

Hey presto... You have a brand new window working at full speed. :thumb2

The only thing I don't know is why these suffer so bad with dodgy windows :nenau

Instead of penetrating spray you can use a silicone spray or even a teflon one if you want fancy :D Saves all that stinky oily residue on your glass :thumbs

yea the wd40 or whatever it is you used won't last long on there

second that for teflon based spray wd40 type stuff doesnt last long at all! used it on mine when i got it and made a right mess of glass, my dad then gave me some teflon spray from work - i will try and find name, its still working well now!

When I wash (I know that's a swear word to some) my truck, I use a hard bristle wheel brush and agitate the window channels with it, it's amazing how much crap comes out when I rinse it down.
My windows work fine ;)

Yeah but your trucks like a show truck, it's probably lubricated by your daily washing :augie;)

And in regards to the other comments yes i have always used silicon spray (if you check my old window post from months ago) however this time I used the magic 2040 spray, good stuff!! Good for belts too! Yes belts...
