Emergency!! My windows not working a and its issing it down. Any manual way of winding it up?

If you need to waterproof it quick.....gafer tape and a bin bag. Then look at it daylight.

Sorry no pics. Didn't have the phone on me. Looks like I need a regulator now. More £££:(

might be worth checking the connections in the center console, have been known to come off, happened to me, window went down but not back up. :augie
was suggested to look there first & sure enough a wire to the switch was off. all good again.

I'm sure I did something similar when I was DIY'ing a 12v port into the back of the cubby box for the Maverick

How does the centre console come apart?? and is the drivers window routed through there?? David.

Mine had the switches in the plastic near to the handbrake and when I put it all together I forgot to plug them back in and the one on the door wouldn't work either :doh

I soon realized what I'd done when I looked at the switches in the dark that night and realized they weren't illuminated

No the drivers window does not go through the console, much more likely is the relay/timer that only the driver door has, remove the door card and you will see the relay, remove it and prize off the casing then check with a magnifying glass for any tiny cracks in the solder where the pins are fitted to the board just resolder them, to test the motor itself unplug the two wire plug on the motor and apply 12v to the two pins, one way round it will go up the other it will go down, best done with a slave battery, Rick

Cheers Rick. Waiting for this wind to stop and the weather to warm up a bit. David.
