Has anyone fitted wind deflectors to the door windows?

I've got a set and the fit in the window channel, just a bit worried now that I've seen them just in case they cause damage to the window regulator or something. They slide up into the rubber channel and also have a bit of self adhesive tape too.

I've got them on mine, you should have got some metal clips aswell that push up into the channel to hold the wind defectors in place:augie I've not noticed any probs with mine since I fitted them 8 months ago:thumb2 When fitting the fronts get the mirror side in first as I did as the instructions said & fitted the rear part first & ended up cracking one:doh so pulled it off & did the front part first & much easier

My Patrol has them in the front doors. They fit inside the window channel and I have no issues with mine other than passenger side one parted company with car a few years ago, having said that the father inlaw fitted them about 16/18 years ago:augie:lol.
I will deffo get some more for her but for all 4 windows

Cheers guys, the instructions that came with them are pants!!! The manufacturer has a web site with a couple of videos on how to fit but it's all polish :doh:doh:doh

Sounds like they fit and don't cause damage :clap

i would like some wind deflectors for mine, but after looking on ebay they look a bit cheap and nasty,
can anybody recommend any ?

Mine are the "Heko" ones, made in Poland. Will let you know what they're like later in the weekend.

I think mine are Climair and are good quality imo:thumb2

Same as mine Jim:thumbs oh the back ones are sided if you look closely having Heko to the rear seemed to be the best fit into the doors.

judd750 i've had 2 different makes on both of my T2's & tbh the plastic of both is about the same. The Heko ones are a more flush fit than the others I had but they seem better in that with the window open 1-2" I don't get water coming in like the others I had that stuck out more:confused:

cheers guys, i didn`t want to buy some and they turn out to be a load of s!!t

will wait and see how jim goes on with his
have visions of jammed windows or bits flying off as i drive down the road

Judd, don't think we are a million miles away from each other so if you like we can meet up so you can take a look.

No that only happens when you own a landrover:lol:lol:lol

had landrovers in the past ,
worst moment was when the bonnet flew open and totally blocked my view
or when the brakes failed on the left hand side and spun me 180 degrees in the middle of the road :doh

or the steering lock that made me misjudge my mums drive entrance and knock down the garden wall , she wasn`t happy :naughty

I've got wind deflectors on my T2 and the Trol and now the Vito . All heko and fine n dandy.the only thing I found a benefit is to spray the edge of the window with silicone spray every now and then to help it up past the plastic , as it does get a bit tight :sly

had wind deflectors on both my mistrals ,I think they are actually called monsoon guards , the official Nissan ones , full wrap around ones , might be worth looking at some of those , alternatively wasn't a member on here selling some ? ..... I seem to remember something to do with zippy :nenau

ive got the heko ones fitted.they are quite small and so far I have had no problems with windows.

Ahaha I can picture all of these :lol

I suppose I need to be in favour of land rover as i work for jaguar :augie

I too have the deflectors, I fitted them without the clips as I was afraid they may scratch the windows and they have been fine.they have been on a year now. Remember to keep the windows closed after fitting for 24 hrs to allow the adhesive to cure, and you should have no problem,John

I purchased some a couple of weeks ago. They are tinted, and come with adhesive tape.Fitted quick and easy no problems,to report.

All fitted and look good, can't wait for the rain now just so that I can open the window and not get dripped on :lol

I fitted the metal clips and seem fine. Only thing that I would of done different is maybe just sham fear the edge that meets the glass on the way up.

Judd if you want to have a look at them drop me a pm :thumbs
