I bet you can't wait to test it.

It looks great, looks up to the job.:thumb2

When connecting the wiring, put some Vaseline on the connections and screws.
I bet you have some of that...
:lol:lol

You just need the tray now, or something else to attach it.:thumb2

I guess you could say they've got me hooked :doh

Yup that's on my hit list. I'm gonna take rick some flowers and scotch :augie

Lol only just saw the Vaseline joke too lol!

Not just Scotch... but it has to be a malt.:thumb2

My favourites are Singleton, and Dalwhinnie at the moment.
Sometimes you need a second opinion to be sure but even then...:p

I find the Islay ones too smokey and peaty. More like creosote lol..
but each to their own, my son loves the Islay malts and has a few with a price of £100 +
I tend to like the Highland malts, usually the one with the best discount...:augie

Looks good

As said before take the gearbox end off and make sure it's greased.

Take the end plate off & wake a load of grease in there as the Chinks don't bother  ;)
If you do that & reguly grease & wd40 it, it will last :thumbs
DONT mount the electric box on the winch as it WILL catch on the spool :doh
Mount it on the near side > ( passenger side ) inner wing :thumbs

Any problems / questions, just txt / call :thumbs

Ta my dear re mounting advise. And nice to know if I get stuck.

Cheers all for greasing ect.

Looks good bud, just need to get it mounted in the bondage bar now :thumbs

You organised the winch tray yet?

You might find you need longer cables to mount the box in the engine compartment (further back the better imho, mine is up near the bonnet hinge). Welding cable does the job well :thumb2

Might want to also think about a cut-off switch for the +ve cable, some have them some don't - I figure better safe than sorry on the albeit slim chance the winch runs away from you :nenau
