Hi guys I'm going to get a winch bumper made for my truck on Tuesday.
It should look like this, near enough:cool:

Copied from a disco but wonder if there are any good ideas you guys may have to include:augie

If yours is a TDi where you going to place the indicators?

Good point,
I've got some MK1 rect. ones. So there will be holes cut for them:thumbs
Easier than the fancy curved ones I've got at the mo:cool:

So :sly are you goingto make some to sell to your mates :bow:naughty

Absolutely:sly
This first one will be to get patterns etc.
Going to try for a nice join with the body work, so it'll be a nice swap from the plastic cak:D
Also got a mock up of a sump guard/slider thing, will bolt to u/s of bumper and somewhere(still to decide) on the chassis.
Costs to follow

should look like this, near enough - only at least a foot deeper - theres a lot of front end to cover on a T2/Mav - I liked the solution on the (was it) spanish T2 that someone linked a photo of in.

I need to spend some time on mine but I'm planning a mix of steel for the winch supports and plastic/composite for the rest of it. Thinking maybe polyprop or a carbon/kevlar mix or maybe Kaylan. Don't see the point in bolting 50 - 100kg of excess steel on the front, suits a defender, want something a bit more styled on mine.

There was a pic posted abit back of one fitted, think it was in Spain.

There was oneposted which looked almost O.E. Think Neil posted it.

Makeitfit, You have to make those next..:bow

O know the one you mean - looked like someone had stuck he front end of an aircraft carrier to te front of a T2 and painted it silver - ugly didn't even start to cover it.
