Any know if 31/10.5/15 MT's on 8x15 steel 8 spokes will fit on my Mav now fitted with 235/75/15 (15x7)standard alloys

Supplier says not recommended but rims listed with negative offset so thinks it's because they will stick out to much.

Thanks

Brian

Can anyone help?

Im looking at ordering soon and read on here that 30/10.5/15 will fit ok on standard 7inch rim but thought 8 inch would be better,am I right?

Want to keep the set I have now for day to day use and just want cheap 8 spokes with budget MTs for using a few times a month.

any other thoughts on sizes would be apreciated.

Also any good suppliers of wheel and tyre packages would help

thanks

Brian

Without knowing the offset irs difficult/impossible for anyone to say10.5s are about as wide as you can go on standard arches so anything that pushes them out further like -ve offset may leave em beyond the arches - most people seem to run em on 7s with no problems, in fact they ae less likely to come off the rim if you wee to air down.

Thanks for that. Supplier recommends 15x7 rims for Mav/terrano so might be best to stick with them.

Had to cut away front bumper after last outing anyway to remove damage so tyres shouldn't rub ;O)
