As a side note auto or manual hubs won't fit behind the 17" alloy's a lot of the later T2's came with:thumbs

I've just finished doing mine.:thumb2

I swapped my manual hubs from my 2001 onto my 2003 (fixed hubs) and put the fixed hubs on the 2001.

Piece of cake, didn't even have to take any wheels off. :lol

Sorry no pics as I was rushing to do it before the rain set in (it's pishin it doon now!).

I've yet to road test them both, but if you're thinking of doing the mod it's simple.:thumb2

good stuff :thumb2 i was going to try do it with wheel on just to show how easy it could be. Report back the difference once youve had chance to test them both.

well my front hubs turned up at work today and i fitted them in my dinner hour in the car park, what a piece of P*&s. I must apologise for the lack of pictures but i hands were covered in grease so couldnt use my phone and in all honesty you dont need them. Just followed the illustration from the manual to put them on. You cant go wrong. As trophy mick says you dont even have to take the wheel off but i suggest taking the weight off the front wheel. The second side took me ten minutes from start to finish once i knew what i was doing. Bring on the benefits i say, will report back after a week of driving.

Yes mate. They came exactly as pictured and all in the exact order which kinda helped. Literally just unbolted old ones and bolted these one and fitted a circlip. All tested and working as they should do. I must admit that the car seemed to free roll better on the way home. Don't no if it's all in my mind. Lol. But I'm sure it was rolling along better than before.

glad they fit ok, Not sure why the person I sold mine to had problems then. :)
