Just bought a Autohome Maggiolina Safari that has replaced the Howling Moon tent.

The tent is a great bit of kit but I wanted something that can be erected in seconds :naughty and also packed away with minimal effort. The Howling Moon takes about 12 minutes to put up, and about 20 to pack away.... the Maggiolina takes about 30 seconds to put up and 2 minutes to pack away :thumbs

Still have the tent, want to try the new setup before we decide to sell.

Going back to the loose stuff I can also confirm all my stuff is tied down, now :augie
When I parked my truck on it's side there was actually very little loose, but what there was came at me from all angles
1st time I did the bomb hole many years ago, I went down a tad too fast. hit the bottom with great enthusiasm and cleaned the back sets of ALL shite and promptly filled the dash and my hoodie :wasntme
I now have many tie downs :thumbs

.... how do you find the Cruiser compared with the Patrol? Is it a 4.2?

Both vehicles are (were) form the same era, the Patrol was actually a year newer and would have been 21 this year, the Land Cruiser is 22 years old this year.

The Patrol was normally aspirated and was well under powered, any sign of a hill saw the manual gearbox having to be stirred.

The Land Cruiser is turbo charged and also an auto, so is obviously a lot more civilised to drive.

The best way I can sumerise between the two, the Patrol felt like I was driving a small lorry and felt agricultural. The Land Cruiser feels like a large car.

Both capable vehicles but for me the Land Cruiser wins.
