I could do that but I have to take the secutary back. And she can't leave untill 4.30 when the postman comes to pick up our parcels.

well we have plenty snow now and im soooo glad. luckily im on the pennines so theres plenty hills to be playing on and most the yocals cant do them so i got them to myself ( only tarmac 4 me )..:D unforunatly im now babysitting so thats it untill the morning but ill be out at half 5 and have a couple of hours fun before work

roll on the morning

well sheffield pretty much isolated, ok so no real change there!

around 18-24" fresh combined fall, not drifts in suburbs.

been to work in troll just, used 1st low and bit of rear axle diff
lock. not so much roads as snow fields, really feel resistance.

all way to work near city centre and back in 4wd, ran like a
dream. taxi service for 4 team mate on way home when
office abandoned at 3pm. no buses all day in region.

on estate roads had ruts like green lanes can imagine was
ploughing centre mound with diffs at times.

oh and would have done my bit to rescue an ambulance 'cept
he couldnt find his screw in towing eye, had straps ready
but declined ripping his bumper off attaching to cross member
so he dug himself out.

think best or worse on your outlook ever seen since kid, parents
saying like 1963.

multiple truckers and motorist slept in their vehicles east of our
place on a57 to worksop, rescued by woodhead moutain rescue
today, might have made national news.

keep it locked, in 4wd folks, know it makes sense.

it's drifiting up the lane at the moment. Will pop up there to play tommorow.

Well apart from a short stretch of M1 I drove home in 4wd:thumbs I took a slight fetour to play though down a little lane fantastic in 4L:clap at the bottom of the lane I saw a road closed sign:doh

My kids High School has been open all week but now says on their web site that they are closed Thursday. The head has put a little message thanking staff and pupils for their endeavours of getting in to school but due to the weather and the local council being incapable of keeping the roads clear they have had to close the school:lol

ironic cos a similar badly dated event last year got a convoy of volunteer 4x4s thanks
to local radio.

perhaps head round to north wales or over woodhead, err its shut, snake err its shut
m62 good luck, have to be that manchester then lol

so pleased for you all, reckon we'll be keeping ours til xmas.

still cant believe when local news say woodhead mountain rescue
are ouot helping 200 drivers stuck on A57, they mean the section
between M1 J.31 and Worksop NOT the A57 over Snake pass
between Sheffield and Manchester. Its still blocked by weather and
vehicles, drivers bedded down in local methodist village church @
South Anston.

If you dont know area its pretty flat out there compared to Sheffield
and Pennines, former North Nottinghamshire coal field.

Oh latest a car transporter closed M1 north at J31, overturned! and
all our cross Pennine routes still shut.

Zippy come home and have some fun...

took me 3 hours to travel 7 miles last last night from bradford to brighouse because the roads where gridlocked with people trying to get home in the heavy snow :(

Getting sick of it now, enjoying driving in 4H but Sh*&ing myself at the same time:eek:. Need some more practice me thinks;) Looks like i've got plenty time to master it:rolleyes:

Just been out playing at the local tips, Not much snow but drifts in places. Had to take the back route as someone parked right in front of the drifts the main way and was blocking the road. The kl71s have been working a treat.

It's now snowing loads.
