Which Tower PC & How Much

The wife hates her Laptop and seems to want to revert to a Tower type PC again. We have a decent Monitor, Keyboard & Mouse to spare so am just looking at a Tower type PC.

She not a Gamer just does Word/ Excel/e-mail/Shopping/Faceache/ but does not do slow !
Can anyone suggest a suitable Brand / Specification. Her favourite PC was our old Medion from Aldi about 8 years ago we use that now as a sort of home network server/backup as it has a removable 1TB plug in memory built into the top that slides into the casing.

Stupidly the last HP unit I bought off a member here we gave away a couple of years ago.

She has Win 10 on her laptop, I put a Shell on the start page so it looks more like Win 7, she insists on using a mouse and separate keyboard ! Groan.

Budget is £0 to £400 absolute maximum.

All long gone now matey, everyone seemed to be chuffed and I only had 2 come back faulty out of the 114 I ended up selling in the end

I don't even know what sort of RAM or Chip speed to go for these days. We used to have an online retailer based in Derby who I bought off but they closed the Derby Branch. I hate the likes of Dixons / PC World.

Aside from the Aldi one my previous one was Mail Order from Tiny if anyone remembers them!

i always buy dell ex corporate towers from ebay ive got 3 ive had for a few years
1tb hard drive
8gb ram
2.4ghz quad core
for just over £100 they have allways done me there quick enough for me and i cant stand slow and hate laptops with a passion lol
