Just can't decide if I want to order a standard snork or order bits to make a DIY kit.

Any suggestions welcome but they seem scarce

I used 3" flexi pipe from snorkel to air box but I modded the air box by cutting a hole in it,welding in a bit of tube and blanking off the original oval intake.
Do a search mate in the mods section as it's been done a few times and all the answers are in there:thumbs

75mm inside diameter seems to be the easiest to work with as there is plenty of choices of bits and peices to work with.

I am away at the moment, but next time me and the laptop are in the same place I could give you the list of parts for my snorkel. There are a few short cuts you could do to make it a bit cheaper, like not worry about the finishing ring that covers the edges of the hole in the wing and buy a cheaper top.
