Which size for Starter Motor Cable on Mav?

Mine is knackered and need a new one to attach to me new terminal as it's currently held on by insulation tape!!!!

Also what do I crimp these with?

What a good idea, clean the copper tube inside with steel wire wool, then apply some flux, do the same with the cable, heat with a blow lamp, like you would a 15mm copper fitting, but apply solder to the gap between the cable and the copper.

You might want to tin the outside of the fitting to prevent corrosion too.

Personally I would drill the hole and flatten the end before soldering it up.

I did my boat battery ones with those available from screwfix, then wrapped the cable and part of the terminal with self amalgamating tape, also from screwfix.

I think I'd rather just grab one of these the right size and whack it on, so 10mm should do it?

yes but solder not crimp unless you have expensive crimper, Rick
