which cb radio ?

I've got an Intek M150 Plus with a MagMount 1m Stinger centrally mounted

I've tuned it with my SWR meter and I can hear people miles away as I hear them all talking to each other, I've listened to them for hours and established where a few of them are, I sit on the top of a hill in Wednesbury and pick a few guys up in Netherton which is nearly 7 mile away as the crow flies.

They have house rigs by the sounds of it as when they transmit I sometimes hear the TV in the background and the stuff they say indicates they are sitting in a house "look out the window, it's raining again" etc etc

I've tried to transmit back but they never hear me and I've yet to have a conversation with anyone on my CB

I don't even know if it works

they are probably using amplifiers to increase their power.

Which would explain why I can hear them from such a great distance but they can't hear me
