Hi All

Using the quick link guide I tried to find the cabin filter on my Maverick.
However my blower is slightly different to the guide and no filter seems to exist
behind the glove box area.

Anyone know where it is on a 1998 SWB 2.7TD Maverick.

Take a picture....
I wonder if the earlier ones were fitted with a filter? My 1999 Terrano has one.

If it is, there is a vertical slide down panel with a single screw at the top, which the filter is behind. It's about 1 1/2" wide, and about 8 or 9 inches high, right in the middle of the heater.

As far as I'm aware theres only a pollen filter if you have air conditioning. However, you know exactly who will have the definitive answer? Someone who has owned a Maverick for22 years :thumbs

My 96 SWB Maverick had one and didn't have air con.

Was exactly the same shape and size as the one in my 04 Terrano too :thumb2

From memory, pop the glove box down by depressing the two stoppers so it clears the plastic trim , undo the screws that hold the bar in place across the middle, remove the bar, slide the plastic cover off and switch the filters

Hi all

FYI It has not got Air/Con and the blower area to consul duct doesn't look the same as the quick link pictures for a Terrano. Took out glove box then removed the centre section of the heat ducting. (large 4 x 4 inch black plastic moulding about 8 inch long) could see the heater matrix fitted into duct at consul area and blower at other but no filter. If it has got one could it be up under bonnet area near windscreen? Will have another look and if I'm still stuck will post a picture.
