does anyone know where is the best place to get a clutch hose ,the one that goes from the slave to the square junction before going on to the master cylinder,
i replaced the cylinder last week as that was shot now im losing fluid and the only place its coming from is the flexi pipe,
ive looked at the parts catalogue and it dont look the same as that one there is a number on the pipe j10401 1/8 if that makes sense ,
i may also add theres no damper pipe on mine so theres a channce that the pipe is not original i dont honestly know ,any ideas anyone :thumb2

are you sure it's coming from that pipe and not running down from somewhere else ?

I use Autolec in Bexhill order before 12 noon, in next day, last one was about £25 I think, but you should be able to order from your local factors, Rick

Hi the one someone got for me sounds like yours just had a look on the bag it came in gives the part number as ADN153904 Clutch hose the number you quoted is the size of the pipe i think as it says on mine j1401 the make of the hose is a blue print you type ADN153904 in to google it brings up a search and shows a picture of it from blue print
hope this helps
cheers ANDY

Hmmmm... looks like a brake hose for a motor cycle? I wonder if you could get one made up with the correct ends (banjo for the clutch end and a screw in fitting for the clutch cylinder) and connect from master cylinder to slave??? A nice stainless stell braided jobby :clap:clap:clap

glad you got sorted still got mine to do waiting for snow to go if it keeps thawing should be ok on sunday need to get somthing to blank the damper connection hole?
cheers Andy:clap

:lolis yours leaking at the moment because mine started slow leaking and just got worse i would only do 2- 3 miles journey and master reservoir would be empty aand then it would have been another master happy days now just waiting for the next surprise:lol:lol

just weeping at the moment i can get away with topping it up depends how much i use it,dont want to leave it too long incase it goes all together

:loljust one word of advice from what i experienced today if you havent already done this yourself before ,before taking of the old hose and losing some fluid make sure you keep the pedal up dont let it drop because i found it was hard to get it to pump back up again once i had changed the hose, the cylinder had gone in and obviously there was no pressure behingd it to begin pumping the fluid around as the pedal had dropped and when lifting it by hande it just made no difference in or out , i just about caught the edge of it as i thought to myself i would have to take the master of again and release the cylinder as i began by disconeecting the pin through the clutch pedal ,it give me a little bit of manouverability to pumpp the cylinder in with my hand behind the pedal (pin being disconnected ) and then connect it back again and use pedal to carry on the the bleeding i started with the slave then when fluid coming out no air onto the master always checking for level,,,,, you ,ve probably done this anyway i just go on to much have fun:lol
