Its the type that attaches to the ceiling.

I've had a search around but can't find what I'm after - perhaps I'm being a bit thick.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Dave

Didn't realise the Terrano's ever had those - while the topic is running (sorry to hijack!) can such a thing be retrofitted to an older Terrano? Realise a new ceiling liner would probably be needed.

failing that - can I fit the lap type?

sorry for the dumb questions - not really up on seatbelts

Yes later terranos had the 3point belt that reracts back into the roof. As for retro fitting I would expect that there will be some structure to add not just a bolt in job.

You could try dropping Zippy a pm as he has contact details for cnc fabs. Also try ebay too.

think that for MOT purposes if your vehicle has a 3 point mounting then it should stay three point, what is wrong with your belt? Rick

the previous owner cut the buckles off...so the belt is just rolled up in the ceiling. To be fair we have never used the centr seat and previously it has passed the ITV with problems. It is just anothr problem to have a look at and try to fix while I have a little time.

Not as daft as it originally sounded
I assume your truck had this fitted as standard but the roof bit is broken and needs replacing.
If so a breaker should be able to supply one.
If you are trying to retro fit, unless the mounting points are factory fitted and you are just fitting the parts to the designed load bearing points, don't bother.....

If you don't ever use that many seats then just remove the seats for the test and if questioned say you needed the extra length for stuff you had to put in the car.

I know in britain that if a seat isn't present it can't be tested and neither can the seatbelt to it :nenau

I recently changed three of my seatbelts on my '05 plate LWB. I got the belts from two different breakers yards, and they were a doddle to change.

If I was you I'd just fit new belts, you will need to put about 20/23 turns on the spindle before fitting the belt if it has been allowed to unwind.
