cheers cncfabs you saved the day :clap
d`dnt fancy a trip to main steelers to be sneered at for owning a 15 year old truck and been charged a fortune to wait a week, if we can get one sir !!!

I really hate having bought parts or products from a supplier, to start the job, and when you get around to fitting them, the are the wrong size, wrong product or broken.:banghead

More especially if this is your only form of transport, and you have gone past the point of no return.:doh

Some times there are two choices and it's only when you strip it down, you find you chose the wrong one. This often applies to brake parts.
So best option, is to agree to buy both and to get a cash refund on the unused one from your local friendly motor factor. NOT a credit note...:doh

I find that local motor factors can give discounts of 10%+ if you quote a local company that can get the part, but you thought you would give them the chance to match the price as you had always had good service from them...

I can usually match or better the ebay prices for most parts with the local motor factors.

However, with oil, I still find the best prices, is to stock up at your local supermarket when on offer.

Any deals going at your local supermarket?
