Saw some 10mm spacers on ebay. Emailed supplier to ask if they are suitable for T2 and if they needed longer studs. Reply was that they should be suitable and longer studs should not be needed. (Please note the "SHOULD"s---nothing positive ).Found this unreassuring.
Went to my waggon and checked thread lengths on wheel nuts. Turns out to be 13mm, give or take a gnats whisker. This would of course leave only 3mm of thread engagement if 10mm spacers were fitted. Seems VERY DODGY to me. Certainly nothing I would contemplate.
Emailed them back to ask if they realised about the shortfall in thread contact and asked for their advice. Awaiting their reply. (my second email was sent about 17.15 today so they may have gone home).
My doubts are reinforced and seconded by the comment above from RUSTIC.
I'm posting this now before waiting for the ebayers reply because I feel alarmed that the product could be a source of potential danger for the unwary and also, I may not get a reply !

PS. Faith in human nature restored--- It's 21.00 and just had a reply from seller informing me that I would indeed need longer studs in order to get at least five full turns on wheelnuts.

Seems to me that extra long bolts would need increased diameter too. Surely there are stress issues which are complex and a "can of worms". Not going down that road . Shall put spacers onto the back burner until someone asks me what I would like for my birthday then try for the proper expensive ones.
