Firstline should read: 'First' in 'line' to fail.
They are simply awful.
We fit a lot at work which pains me as the rubber compound they use tends to perish and disintegrate within a couple of months!
In the early days before I knew, I fitted Firstline stuff to my Movano van and was horrified to see the drop link rubber boots disintegrated within 8 weeks
Blueprint is good but not infallible.
Fitted a blueprint headgasket last year to the Terrano to have it eat itself instantly.
Fire rings on the headgasket had been manufactured slightly undersized and were mashed by the pistons on startup. Got the gasket back on warranty but not the 10hrs of heartache having to do the job twice.
A good parts company doesn't seem to exist these days.
Most of the small ones have been eaten up by the larger ones and through cost cutting measures as seen throughout industry, the quality is falling as they try to make things on a smaller budget.
Warranty should be the first thing you look at when buying a part!
Was in Tesco the other day looking at the size of a Cadbury's chocolate bar these days and actually laughed out loud when I thought back to how they've shrunk in size in the last two decades!
