hello just wondering what work id have to do to my truck to fit 31" tires to my truck? would I need a suspension/body lift and some new wheels? iv currently got 16" alloys on it cheers

2" lift minimum, either body or susp lift.

remove front mud flaps and some trimming of the inner front arch by the footwells

I'm running BF Goodrich A/T 31's and I had no lift and there was no rubbing only just done my suspension lift :thumb2

May rub when turning and going over bumps. Also it's a general post as 31 muds tend to be a bit bigger.

I was thinking about getting a trail master 3" suspension lift kit any ways so will do that first

Generally 2" is max what you can get out of the front after that you start getting into problems of camber change also the front drive shaft angles are too steep for the CVs.

Just get some 2-3" longer shocks for the rear, 2" springs from bloodred offroad. Wind up the front torsion bars.

Or do a body lift if you plan on getting bigger tyres. You will need to mod your bumpers to sit higher.

3" kit  Leave it :nono
How much is the kit by the way ?
2" suspension lift is fine and you can go upto 35s with that and a simple 2" body lift.:naughty

hello ive got another question or 3:augie, where can I get rear shocks that are 2" longer? and will it course problems if I did a suspension lift of 2" and a body lift off 40mm? and what othere work will I need to do for example will I need to make break pipes longer? or steering column?

Just do a 2" suspension lift for 31s

I'd add +3" shocks and do the dislocation cone lift, LIKE ME :)

This way U get epic articulation

LLAMA 4x4 for your shocks , about 37/40 quid each. Just use std length at the front. 40mm body lift no probs, but why? Brake pipes are good for 2" lift safely :thumbs
Steering is just free off the flexi link and tighten back up again.:thumb2

im just trying to figure out what to do, ideally I could do with a shopping list so I could just go and get the bits :augie. plus how hard is it to do the work? will be the first time I've raised a car, iv lowered one before! im ok with cars but no expert
