Cant believe this threads still running :clap

Dont know who if anyone else is a fan of the late Gram Parsons but his cv and the names on his album participants is awesome. A significant number of modern "quality" musicians pay homage. eg U2s joshua tree

i dont suppose anyone wants to hear the oldest record in my collection ?:p ( its on vinyl remember that ? lol )

Oldest, eh ...

Which counts as older, Billie Holiday on vinyl (April 7, 1915 – July 17, 1959) or Robert Johnson on CD (May 8, 1911 – August 16, 1938)??

It's possible I might have something even older - must go look

I've still got more vinyl LPs than CDs - and, of late, they've had a lot more play-time too.

Time I bought a new needle for my gramaphone ........ :thumb2

It's a day or two since I visited this thread and I haven't looked at every page - so apologies if someone has already posted this and I missed it.

If the theme is music that moves you, then this must win it outright, no question. This video and the Car's "Drive" moved about 1500 million people simultaneouly ..........
