what size tyres?

i have been offered 4 kumho 30.9.50x15 mud terrain tyres.have read all the variuos discussions on tyre sizes(trimming bumper/mud flaps etc)but with the larger tread pattern dont know weather or not to chance it.if any one has fitted these tyres could you tell me if you had any problems at all as i dont want to part with my cash if its gonna cause me any problems.cheers :? :?

Ok, standard 235/75 R15's are equivalent (near as dammit) to a 29x9.50 R15, but becuase tyres vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, some measure bigger than others.

What I'll say about the Kumho AT's & the MT's I have now, they are quite a narrow tyre for the measurement, with a rounder profile than some.

Can't say 100% but the likelihood is that they'll fit without problems.

I've got yokohama mud terrain tyres in that size on mine. I had to remove the front mud flaps that was all. I've since spring and body lifted it and they now look a little tiny but were nicely in proportion before the body lift.

This photo shows it at standard height with those tyres on, the next one (clean) with LWB springs and front wound up to match.
