how much difference did blocking off the EGR vavle make? and doin the exhaust! is it much different in sound too?

I'm wanting to fit ballbars and ''Blind you bu***rs'' spot lights, for those people who can't find the dip switch on there cars, but have been told that it cuts your fuel.
Is this true?

Thomas just interested to know how long you've had your s/s exhaust on and if you've had any problems.

I looked at getting a slightly larger bore in s/s for my T2 but a seemingly very knowledgeable bloke at Powerflow told me don't waste my money as the vibrations from large diesels tend to cause the welds to crack...I was well upset
