No I haven't but Amphetamines were used extensively at one time by many countries. It was rumoured that the SAS & SBS used it to keep combatants awake and alert don't know if that was official or illegally by members.

I knew a retired SBS member who referred to them as half the equation in uppers & downers - he talked about it being provided to the section (were talking 1970's).

No surprise really that Methamphetamine was also used by the Nazis amongst others. Modern Day Suicide Bombers tend to be drugged up when on a mission.
