Hi Mate and welcome,

It turns off the alarm sensors inside the car so you can lock the wife and kids in it while you go in to the pub and the alarm does not go off.

on the othere side ive put a switch that will keep them all quite too!!

They are right Nik - if you look up behind the front doors at the top of the door pillar, you should see the motion detectors

All you need do is press that switch once, then lock the car with the remote in the normal manner.....the immobiliser and alarm still work, but won't be triggered by movement inside the car.

But of course, you only use it with dogs in the car......! OR if you want to leave the windows or sunroof cracked when is hot - the draught will be enough to set it off otherwise....

You lot have all the gadgets in your motors. Mine barely has an engine and wheels:( Next time I'll get a fancy one:naughty

I like gadgets, though. Especially an inside/outside temperature gauge:( Miss having that, had one in my Pajero and electric windows and central locking. Everybody else has central locking and whenever they travel with me they always leave the passenger door unlocked:doh

Glue a thermometer to the outside of the windscreen :lol

Lidl's had a nice inside / outside digital temperature gauge in recent weeks for E4.99. It was for the car or the house. It actually seems to work well, at least the outside temp readings match those on the T2 gauge. Doesn't have any light though so you can't see it in the dark. Still you wouldn't be able to read a thermometer stuck to the glass in the dark either:lol
