What are the differences of 2.7TD and 2.7TDI

Does anyone know what the difference between the 2.7TD and 2.7TDI?
Is it the same transmisson?
Is the engine the same but without the intercooler?
Is the turbo the same?

Is the engine the same but without the intercooler? YES but has a bunch of electronics and sensors and an ecu.
Is the turbo the same? YES

Bonnet is different too , obviously and also bottom ball joints and other small cosmetic changes.
OH and an extra 25 horse power :sly

TDI has different injectors .
TDI & TD turbo's are the same in terms of airflow and series, but the TDI has a different compressor housing without the bend. Alittle more boost pressure on the TDI.

Gearbox the same.

...usually playing up, or about to! No, that's abit unfair.. Lets say you need to be abit aware of the foibles of the TDI whereas the TD will just keep going ad infinitum...

Main problem is elec fuel pump changed mine to mech now as dependable as my old mav.

Apart form a different gear box, a different transfer box, a different rear diff and different front hubs. oh, and different prop and different drive shafts.
