So, puddles on the floor suddenly in the drivers footwell. :(

Its not dependent on how the cars parked - in fact drivers side higher than passenger, and the leak still happens. So probably not sunroof drain..

How does the A pillar trim come off? I can't get behind it to pull, and the workshop manuel isn't very good at telling me.....

check in the engine bay on that side theres a bit that can come away, a few have just tiger sealed it back in place and thats fixed it

That explains it well:doh:lol what bit & where:augie

If the rain stops, I will have a look :)

but then the problem is, it will have stopped raining, and I won't know if I have fixed it!

AAARRRGGGHH!

fix it then spray a hosepipe on it :thumbs

good point lol the brake servo area

:thumbs other things I can think of is sunroof drains (if you've got a sunroof) & some rot by the door hinges along the seam there as my last T2 was getting close to holing & have seen loads which were the same or had hold

I too need to get a few towels in my foot well:augie
but then........
I did see this massive puddle:augie

I have been through this puddle before:(

October 13 ish.

I had a few quid and decided to sell my pride and joy ( fiat multipla) which I had had for 5 years asfter I took the front wing off in an accident.

I thought rather than fixing this I would spend the money on summat else.
I bought a scenic?
spent all my money and went through this puddle:doh
I killed it:doh
no money, no car,and no way to get to work being self emplyed:(
it was a bad time.

but hey ho shit happens.

then I brought me terrano.

I went at this puddle at a good speed:eek:

It was very deep.
I aqua planed a bit, or at least the steering was a bit :naughty
I could see nothing even though I had the wipers on.
and I thought shit I shouldn't of done that.

I then had to warn drivers of the danger.

my point is.
the best thing I did was rip me rugs out. it flooded but is still going strong:clap
god this is the best car I have ever owned. I love it.

sorry for waffling.its Friday and im on vodka:D

I often get water in the drivers foot well if I forget to park right, normally I am on a slope passenger side down if it rains water enters the drivers door and drips onto the step and it goes over the slightly raised bit into the foot well, if rain is expected and I remember I park the other way round this stops it, Rick

Then again Rick you do leave your passenger window open :naughty :augie

but it has storm guards that shed the rain out, I have them so I can leave both front windows down an inch to give fresh air to the dogs without rain coming in, but as with all cars rain gets between the glass and the rubber strip that is why we have drain holes in the bottom of the doors, Rick
