Identical wheels mate, they are 15's and same offset

I'll get some pics up of them later tonight if I make it home in the light :doh

They are a lot heavier and are chrome but have gone scabby, probably better nick than mine when I brought them but after a powdercoat they will look immense

do not want to put a downer on them but arnt the tyres supposed to be covered by the wheel arches in law for road use.

They'll pass an MOT but are not legal. If you get a know all plodmiester you'll get nicked. The "tread" must be covered , no worries on the wall though. A quick trim of a bit of UPVC screwed up to underside of the plastic wing trims will see you right. Spray to colour match or back to black. It can look very good and will cost you :D

In theory the wheels/tyres should not protrude further than the wheel arches. :augie

So what we doing old banshee old chap? :nenau

I need to pay you a visit I guess. Can you pm me your post code so I can cry a little.

And let me know your availability.

Are you going to the May Weekend?

I could take them there for you ?

many years ago in my garage i used to customise a lot of minis, escorts, cortinas etc, wide wheels wide arches etc for on road and off road track cars.
the legality of it was always sorted as i did not want my garage to brake the law.
now i have been out of the trade many years so laws change.

Alex, just mentioning this in case you haven't thought about it but you know your current tyres are 16" right? (and so won't fit on these rims) :nenau

Thanks mate for the heads up, it's for future tyres :thumbs

I was actually curious how wide these rims were. Trying to calculate what the maximum width tyres are that would fit on this rim compared to 35" tyres for example, nothing in stone yet but I'm defo taking these wheels

You will need at least 10 j rims for 35"wide tyres.
They look like an 8j wheel with zero off set, possibly -20 but hard to tell by just looking at the pics.
Should be stamped on the rim somewhere.
Biggest tyres I would fit on an 8j are 33".

If it's the same rule for cars your allowed 30mm wheel poke aslong as the tread is inside the arch and not showing.
