My personal thoughts are that as RickyDicky is a relatively new member (er, well, posting wise :augie),

we all ought to make a special effort and join up for the day to meet and assist with the welding training!

(I would suggest that non-beer drinkers do the designated driving!)

Just a thought! :sly

Further to my previous post, with potentially many welders working at any one time...

...perhaps the brewery would be a better venue as it will have a more substantial and stable electric supply.

Then we can bring all our trucks there, and by the end of that week...:augie
we would have All the trucks fixed... I think a week will do it... but I wouldn't like to be the last in the queue lol...
Briggie could supply the Jokes, I could make sure we are looking after ourselves, and in charge of the fire extinguisher and sun tan lotion to reduce UV burns, and advising on electrics, all the other guys bring their welding gear down... this is where and how club meets should be lol

Couldn't organise a **** up in a brewery.... I bet he could lol.:thumb2
:clap:clap

I'm happy to pay in beer or cash for someone to do some welding for me.

Are the output amps of the mig unit relative to the thickness of steel that can be welded ?

thanks

most definitely, you should have adjust ability on your mig to cater for different metal thicknesses, (amps) and also a fine tune wire speed adjuster, Rick
