Got loads of little jobs I want to get on with but will see what gets done, supposedly the festive decs will be going up this weekend :thumbs

The oncologist is really going to be cross with you then when he finds out that's what you've been up to :lol

Not up to much this weekend.
Was at work this morning and this afternoon i replaced the wiper blades and sorted out a corroded wire to the passenger side rear indicator.
Started chucking it down with rain so i retired to the sofa and watched a Christmas film with the daughter:thumb2
As for tomorrow will see what the weather is like before i decide if i can be bothered to change my creaky lower ball joint.

Getting stocked up for a few days on my own, SWMBO visiting relatives in the SW......

But.......off to a lovely male voice choir concert this evening, in the city cathedral........:thumb2

Today i robbed a towbar off a swb terrano my brother bought for quids last week. Rotten as a pear, the truck is, but runs lovely.
There's too much work getting on top of the rust to make it last past the mot due date so after the winter and mot is out, it's being exported apparently.
The towbar will be powder coated and be a replacement for the swan neckish type I have atm.
You lot have sent the rain here this arvo:doh
We're out on our bikes tomorrow so will be freezing and cold but fun :naughty

Spent today reading up on, and looking for T2's, Trolls, and Jeeps, but am now more confused than ever... In between that, I have been cutting raw chicken up and portioning it out, so I can freeze it, doing 24 days worth of Ferret food. It's a long job, but nice to know I won't have to do it again for 3 weeks or so.

Also, this year, I decided to make a memorial tree for all the ferrets that have passed on over the years. So far, I have made up 4 of these, although a couple still need a few bits to finish them. I then need to go out and cut some more out, but it's too cold out in the garage tonight. Operating a jigsaw with cold hands is a bit dodgy...

Tomorrow, provided it's not wet, I have been informed we will be taking the kits out for a walk. :bow Not sure they will agree though, as despite them normally enjoying the cold, last night I found them on/in our bed... Wimps..

Weather looking good outside this morning.

Wife and my lads are painting in the living room so as I’m banned from owt much I’ll take myself out for a stroll. Getting a bit bored of all this recovering thing now. Even charged my ham radio hand held so will switch that on today.

Got my appointment through for the results of the op on Wednesday. So I’ll find out what the future holds, fingers crossed all good:thumbs

After a howler of a day yesterday it's calmed down here and not raining at the mo.
Sanding and varnishing a hallway floor for me today, yep you've guessed it, in time for Christmas.
Fingers crossed for you here to Jim!

Joined to house utility room

That has been my occupation this W/E doing some more to a project started some weeks ago, currently our utility room is in another old stable some 30 mtrs away, main problem is in a bad winter the machines tend to freeze unless I have the forethought to drain them, soon they will be in here as part of the house, 100mm Celotex in walls and ceiling 50mm in floor, so will stay nice and warm, as well as the two washing machines and tumble dryer, there is room for the small chest freezer, fridge and a 600mm base unit, work top on two walls and a table top dish washer and maybe a wall unit if we find the need, Rick

Nice n warm with all that insulation Rick, is that a room in your house or still an out building?

It is an add on Jim, if you look to the left you will see the stud wall we made the opening, we used to have an unattached shed here but knocked it down and built something more substantial properly joined to the house, it has a flat roof finished in fibreglass, just got to get some plumbing and electrics sorted and a bit of paint etc, Rick

Fingers crossed for Wednesday Jim.

I've been out riding through woods and dirt tracks since 8am.
Home about 4pm, out with the pressure washer and a gallon of wd40 and she's as good as new :clap Shame the same can't be said about my arse  hurts a bit, from the seat.:lol

Sunday night stopover to visit daughter

We are back from our Chester visit, great Carol Service at the Freedom Church in Chester, I am biased as our daughter was on keyboard with Son-in-Law on Guitar with vocals, saw Grandkids - had some great meals out, wife spent some serious money at Cheshire Oaks starting to replace stuff lost after the fire now that the claim is settled.

The total Insurance pay out for Buildings & Contents was just under £200k not bad cover for a premium that in 2017 was just £119, we renewed this year with the same company the premium has risen to just over £310!

It will be interesting to see what the premium will be next year when I might start shopping around.

I was tempted to say the price might " rocket " , but I thought id better not
